RAVA IDLY

I tried this dish many times from various sites that almost turned out into bad results. Finally when i was talking to my friend in phone recently got the recipe...It came out good .

INGREDIENTS:

Rava - 3/4 cup

Vermicelli(semiya) - 1cup

Carrot - few bits(optional)

Peas - 10 (optional)

Yoghurt - 2cup ( if you wish,you can use 1&half cup curd,1/2 water)

Baking soda - a pinch(optional)

Cashew - 5-6(break into two bits)

FOR SEASONING:

Mustard
Curry leaves
Jeera
ginger -few bits
Green chilly -1 big
Peppercorns - 5-6

METHOD:

First season the things given in seasoning list and add chopped carrot and peas.(tip:Use more oil)

Fry the whole things, then add Rava and then lastly Vermicelli.

When you feel the aroma, off the stove, once it get cool mix all the ingredients with yoghurt.

Mix nicely now add a pinch of baking soda, cashew, salt.

Pour in the Idly mould and stream it,Serve hot with any chutney.

Rava idly is good to have while it is hot, adding vegetable will increase our interest on the recipe than having plain one.

5 THINGS ABOUT ME (MEME)

I have been tagged by Maheswari long time back for 5 things about me which you don't know.Let me do that now.

(PHOTOGRAPHY BY :MY DEAR HUBBY,PLACE:CENTRAL PARK,NEWYORK).

1. TRI-STATE GIRL-:Born and brought up in Andhra Pradesh,Mother-in-law place Tamilnadu, started my marriage life in Karnataka..

2. I love and was crazy on Lavender colour. Before marriage, my first choice of any dress material,my cosmetic accesories use to be lavender colour, after my hubby's suggestion i started preferring other suitable shades now.

3. I'm Very Sensitive, who gets tears within fraction of seconds when i hear any harsh words from my beloved one..

4.U.S.A DREAM: Believe it or not, it was my dream to come U.S.A from my child hood days, i use to say looking at skies to bless my wish would come true one day( as my aunty said that after 6p.m god flies around in sky to bless our wishes:))))funny no...it was in my 7or 8th class i think).(I REALISED ONE FACT FROM THIS,IF YOU HAVE STRONG DESIRE,DEEP FROM YOUR HEART,ONE DAY SURE IT WILL COME TRUE).But later after marriage i was not very crazy on abroad visit.

5. I'm not a very good cook before i came here, i have improved a lot after coming here particularly after started blogging...Let me thank all my beloved fellow bloggers.

I think everyone would have done this tag. If any one left please feel free to take the tag.
