BIRD'S NEST- A CREATIVE SNACK

After reading name i can see wonder and smile on your lips my dear friends.Yes it is 100%vegetarian snack, don't panic.

It is one of my favourite from my college days,i have learnt it from my friends. When i'm back to home from hostel, i start trial on my family members.Sometimes they are scared to be my specimen, but i suprised them with this wonderful snack. They enjoyed it alot...Hope you guys too.

INGREDIENTS

Potato -1 big
Peas(boiled or frozen)10-15numbers
Garam masala powder 1tsp
Chillipowder-1/2tsp
Tumeric powder-1/4tsp
Salt-As per taste
Maida-4tsp
Vermicelli-4-5tsp

METHOD:

First boil the potato and mash it finely with out any lumps.

Now add all the powder except maida and vermicelli to the mashed potato, mix it well.

Divide into eqaul size balls and flat it.

Place3-4 peas on potato patties and close, try to roll it into oval shape ball.

Meantime make an paste of maida(for binding) and just roll the potato balls on this paste

Then on the vermicelli.

Keep the pan, pour oil.Once you feel it has reached right temperature.

Drop one by one ball into the oil and fry till light golden brown and drop on towel(to remove excess oil).

Serve hot with tomato ketch up.

Actually the vermicelli gives appearance like twigs and dry grass,Peas as eggs.Hence i think it should have got this name.

Its very easy and doesn't take much time even.

Usha wow! We too make this snack but with more stuffing and after frying cut the balls into halves. This shows the stuffing, cools down a bit to pop into the mouth and looks wonderful. Good job :)! When I make it I will share mine too.
