EASY &QUICK VEG.PULAVO

This pulavo is very easy and even a bachelor can do it in short....

I felt this would be a perfect contribution to Trupti's Family and Friends In the Kitchen Event...

One specialty of this dish is, my hubby right from the chopping vegetables till the serving, got some instructions from me while he had doubt, prepared it himself. Thanks Trupti, i took leave from Kitchen in the name of this event:))

INGREDIENTS:

Rice - 2 cups

Chopped Green Beans -1/2 cup

Chopped Carrot -1/2cup

Potato - 1 medium size

Lilva beans - 1cup or peas(any beans of your choice)

Onion -1 big

Tomato -1 small

Kitchen King Masala - 1-2 tsp

Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp

Tumeric - a pinch

Salt - as per taste

Ghee or Veg.oil - 2 table spoon

Mint Leaves - few (for garnishing- optional)

METHOD:

First Melt the Ghee, fry Onion, tomato and all vegetables...

Once it is fried well, add Turmeric, Kitchen King Masala, Chilli powder, Salt and mix well.

Then drop the soaked rice in pan, fry well, till it looses its moistness.

Now start pouring 4cups of water ,Gently mix and close the pan,put weight..

Keep on medium flame, after 2 whistle off the stove..

Don't open till all the pressure settles down, garnish with mint leaves...

Serve hot with Raita or Chips.

It is delicious , perfect for lazy days...as it can be cooked in very short if you have frozen vegetables handy...

No business of grinding work.... which cuts merely half of our work...isn't it?

From our routine style it was different and tasty ...Kitchen king masala really gives a good taste and flavour to the recipe. I like to thank Seema personally here, because of her only i came to know about this masala

Usha,
The moment I saw your comment on my blog I came running to visit yours. How nice it feels once in a while to take a break from the kitchen and with our husbands cooking yummy dishes isn't it. Convey my wishes to your hubby. And I love Kitchen King Masala too and use it more than garam masala nowadays. Just love the flavor.
Hugs
Seema
